SMARTS Conversation: Technology (AI, writing, and more!)
April 9 @ 7:00 pm - 8:00 pm
In today’s world, technology is radically changing many aspects of our lives, and executive function is no exception. In some cases, technology represents a dangerous “shortcut” that can undermine student learning and their ability to engage in EF related tasks down the road; however, when used properly, technology can make EF demands more visible and accessible to students. Join us for an in-depth exploration of how technology and artificial intelligence (AI) can be harnessed to effectively support students’ executive function development.
Michael Greschler, M.Ed., Shelly Levy, M.Ed., M.S., and a panel of SMARTS educators will guide you through the intersection of executive function, technology, and AI. Discover how to leverage digital tools to assess students’ executive function strengths and challenges, implement targeted interventions, and promote self-regulation and metacognition.
This session is exclusively designed for current SMARTS Elementary and Secondary teachers. Reserve your spot today and embark on a journey of empowering students to become self-directed, adaptable, and technologically proficient learners.
