SMARTS Conversation: Parents (Conferences and more!)
November 7 @ 6:00 pm - 7:00 pm

In many ways, parents are a natural partner when it comes to identifying and addressing the executive function challenges of our students. However, parents and teachers may have misaligned expectations when it comes to executive function, making it harder for either to support students’ EF needs. In this session, we will discuss both the importance of engaging with parents as well as effective and easy strategies that are equally relevant for the classroom and home.
Join Michael Greschler, M.Ed., Shelly Levy, M.Ed., M.S., and other SMARTS educators as we review how to use SMARTS strategies to empower students and get them to use these strategies at home and at school! Bring your questions, ideas, and whatever is on your mind. Please note: this session is only available to current SMARTS Elementary and Secondary teachers
